Organization: Alignerr Type: Hourly Contract Location: Remote Commitment: 10–40 hours/week What You'll Do Analyze realistic data security and DLP scenarios spanning cloud, SaaS, and enterprise environments Classify data sensitivity levels, exposure paths, and policy violations based on real-world context Evaluate prevention, detection, and incident response strategies for accuracy and completeness Generate, label, and validate data security cases used to train and benchmark AI systems Help AI models develop a nuanced, expert-level understanding of how sensitive information is exposed and protected Who You Are 2+ years of experience in data security, compliance, security operations, or a related field Familiar with DLP tools, data classification frameworks, and privacy or regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, CCPA) Practical, real-world understanding of how data risk manifests across modern organizations Able to analyze scenarios critically and communicate findings clearly in writing Self-motivated and comfortable working independently on task-based assignments Nice to Have Experience with cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP) or SaaS security posture management Background in insider threat detection, CASB, or data governance programs Familiarity with AI workflows or data labeling environments Why Join Us Work directly on cutting-edge AI projects with top research labs and frontier AI teams Fully remote and flexible — structure your work around your life, not the other way around Freelance autonomy with the backing of a globally collaborative platform Apply your security expertise to a genuinely novel and high-impact problem space Potential for ongoing work and contract extension based on performance

The analyst will evaluate and classify data security and DLP scenarios to help train and benchmark frontier AI models. They will generate and validate security cases to improve how AI reasons about data protection and privacy.

Candidates need at least 2 years of experience in data security or compliance and familiarity with DLP tools and regulatory frameworks like GDPR. Strong critical analysis skills and the ability to work independently in a remote environment are required.
