As an Electrical Engineering AI Trainer, your deep domain expertise becomes the benchmark that cutting-edge language models are measured against. This is a fully remote, flexible contract role where your knowledge directly shapes how AI understands and reasons through complex engineering problems. Organization: Alignerr Type: Hourly Contract Location: Remote Commitment: 10–40 hours/week What You'll Do Design Challenging Problems — Craft advanced electrical engineering problems across domains such as circuit analysis, power systems, signal processing, electromagnetics, control systems, and embedded systems to stress-test AI performance Author Gold-Standard Solutions — Write rigorous, step-by-step technical solutions that serve as ground-truth benchmarks for AI learning and evaluation Audit AI Outputs — Evaluate AI-generated responses, circuit diagrams, mathematical proofs, and code for technical accuracy, logical soundness, and adherence to engineering standards (e.g., IEEE, NEC) Sharpen AI Reasoning — Identify flaws in AI reasoning chains and deliver structured feedback that helps models think more like expert engineers Who You Are Pursuing or holding a Master's or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or a closely related field Strong foundational expertise in one or more core domains: VLSI, control systems, telecommunications, power electronics, signal processing, or similar Able to communicate complex technical concepts clearly and precisely in writing Highly detail-oriented when reviewing equations, circuit logic, and technical documentation Self-directed and comfortable working independently on a flexible schedule No prior AI experience required Nice to Have Experience with data annotation, technical writing, or quality evaluation workflows Familiarity with simulation tools (MATLAB, SPICE, etc.) Background spanning multiple EE subfields Why Join Us Work on genuinely cutting-edge AI projects alongside top research labs Fully remote and async — work when it suits you, from anywhere Freelance perks: autonomy, variety, and collaboration with a global expert community Directly influence how AI understands one of the most technically demanding fields in the world Potential for ongoing work and contract extension

Requires a Master's or PhD in Electrical Engineering or a related field with deep expertise in core domains like VLSI or control systems. Candidates must be able to communicate complex technical concepts clearly in writing and be highly detail-oriented.
