Organization: Alignerr Type: Hourly Contract Location: Remote Commitment: 10–40 hours/week What You'll Do Review and analyze security policies, controls, and procedures for accuracy and completeness Evaluate compliance scenarios across frameworks like SOC 2, ISO 27001, and NIST Assess risk statements, control mappings, and audit-style documentation Generate and validate high-quality training and evaluation data for AI systems Apply your real-world GRC experience to judge nuanced, scenario-based questions Who You Are 2+ years of hands-on experience in GRC, compliance, or risk management Familiar with one or more major frameworks — SOC 2, ISO 27001, NIST, PCI-DSS, or similar Comfortable reading and interpreting security policies, audit reports, and control documentation Detail-oriented with precise, structured written reasoning Self-motivated and able to work independently on asynchronous tasks Nice to Have Experience with data annotation, data labeling, or AI evaluation workflows Background in information security, IT audit, or third-party risk management Certifications such as CISA, CRISC, CISSP, or CISM Why Join Us Work directly on frontier AI systems alongside top research labs Fully remote and flexible — work on your own schedule Freelance perks: autonomy, variety, and global collaboration Contribute to meaningful work that improves how AI handles real-world security and compliance challenges Potential for ongoing work and contract extension

The analyst will review security policies and compliance scenarios to generate high-quality training data for AI models. They will apply real-world GRC expertise to evaluate and validate how AI systems reason about governance and risk.

Candidates must have 2+ years of hands-on GRC experience and familiarity with major frameworks like SOC 2, ISO 27001, or NIST. Strong written reasoning skills and the ability to work independently in an asynchronous environment are required.
