Job summary
About The Role Alignerr is building a dataset of expert tasks that train and evaluate advanced AI agents on real enterprise marketing work. As a Marketing Task Author based in the Toronto area, you will design and calibrate demand and content tasks grounded in real data — drafting on-brand announcements, building competitive comparisons, and tracing campaign attribution — that require factual accuracy, brand judgment, and data-backed conclusions. This is a fully remote, flexible contract role open to experienced marketing professionals across Canada who want to contribute their expertise to the cutting edge of AI development. Organization: Alignerr Type: Hourly Contract Location: Remote Commitment: Flexible, task-based Key Responsibilities Author realistic marketing task prompts: on-brand announcement drafts, competitive comparison documents, and campaign attribution analysis. Write scoring rubrics that specify factual accuracy standards, brand fit criteria, and the data logic required to confirm a conclusion is supported. Set up task environments with the campaign data, brand guidelines, competitive intelligence, and analytics outputs needed to replicate a real marketing work scenario. Solve each task yourself to confirm the scenario is realistic, the correct output is clear, and the rubric reflects genuine marketing judgment. Calibrate task difficulty — adjust data complexity, brand guideline specificity, or attribution ambiguity until the task reliably challenges the model to the intended degree. Review and correct AI-drafted task prompts or rubrics when provided. Qualifications Hands-on experience in a marketing role — demand generation, content marketing, product marketing, or a closely related function. Ability to verify factual accuracy in marketing claims and confirm that stated conclusions follow from the underlying data. Strong brand judgment: can assess whether a draft is on-brand and articulate why with specific, checkable criteria. Comfortable working with campaign performance data, attribution reports, and competitive positioning documents. Ability to define precise correctness criteria for marketing outputs — not just "good writing" but verifiable accuracy, brand alignment, and data support. Nice to Have Experience in B2B, enterprise, or technology-sector marketing within the Canadian market. Familiarity with marketing analytics platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Marketo, Google Analytics, Looker). Background working with North American or bilingual (English/French) marketing campaigns. Why Join Us Work on cutting-edge AI projects alongside leading research labs. Fully remote and flexible — work when and where it suits you. Freelance autonomy with the structure of meaningful, task-based work. Contribute to AI development that directly shapes how technology handles real enterprise marketing challenges. Potential for ongoing work and contract extension as new projects launch.
