Job summary
This position will report directly to the Warehouse Assistant Manager in our Brantford, ON location. Job Overview The case warehouse team member is responsible for receiving inventory into our warehouse and maintaining the case warehouse. Responsibilities and Duties Below are the key components of the position, but not limited to: Receive (using RF scanner) and label, inspect and store all incoming card stock using an “Order Picker” machine and other warehouse lifts. Follow all company protocols and procedures. Utilize computer-based storeroom operations program. Count and inspect goods accurately and thoroughly. Oversee multiple tasks effectively. Practice safe warehouse procedures, identify potential hazards, and recommend improvements to the Health & Safety Committee. Establish and maintain effective working relationships with fellow staff. Maintain warehouse in a neat, orderly, and efficient manner. Other tasks as required. Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent. General knowledge of warehouse and inventory practices, including bar-coding procedures with a minimum of 1 years’ experience. Valid Fall Arrest certification. Hold current accredited certifications to operate Class 2 forklifts with “Order Picker” experience and other warehouse equipment would be considered an asset. Computer knowledge as it pertains to inventory, receiving and distribution. Physically fit and able to consistently lift an average of 50lbs. Able to follow oral and written instructions.
