Responsibilities Tasks Assemble mechanical equipment Assemble stationary industrial machinery Coach and instruct apprentices Detect and troubleshoot irregularities and malfunctions Read blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine work requirements Repair or replace defective machinery parts Supervise other workers Estimate costs and materials Perform routine maintenance work on machinery Installing machinery and equipment Operate hoisting and lifting equipment
