Job Title: Security Professional Job Location: Windsor, ON Job Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $19.36 per hour Shifts : Sun, Mon, Tue, Wed, Thur, Fri and Sat| Various shifts. Overview: Allied Universal is currently hiring Security Professionals in Windsor, ON to provide professional, front-line security services. This role is ideal for individuals with strong customer service skills, able to work night shifts, a professional demeanor, and willing to work with a dynamic team. Requirement: Familiarity with access control systems and alarm . Experience with report writing and note-taking. Knowledge of CCTV monitoring systems. Valid Ontario security guard license Valid Full (G License) and a clean drivers abstract is mandatory. Must be eligible to work in Canada for 24 hours per week. Valid First Aid and CPR certificate. Must be at least 25 years old. High school diploma or equivalent/GED or equivalent work experience Specific Duties Performed And Essential Functions : Access control for the facility/area Present a polished, professional, customer friendly image at all times Ability to manage conflicts and incidents and to deescalate Patrolling and following protocols as per the post orders, which may include indoor or outdoor patrols, manage the movement of guests at various points throughout the property etc. Ensure that the facility’s safety and emergency procedures are followed in response to fire alarms and other site Emergencies Undertake site specific training, follow direction and guidance from Site Supervisor or Manager Demonstrate good judgment, common sense and decision-making ability, particularly when required to take charge and direct others in emergencies or other incidents Meticulous record keeping, report writing, observation skills excellent verbal and written communication skills Operate/monitor security room equipment, Completion of site required training Benefits: Opportunities for career growth and advancement.
