Representing over 18,000 Queen's students, the Alma Mater Society is the oldest student government in Canada. Mission: "To serve and represent the diversity of students at Queen's University" The AMS oversees the day-to-day operations of 11 student-run services, 700+ student staff, 200+ student volunteers, a number of student government committees aimed at promoting student interests, and over 350 clubs. Monitored by Director of Marketing and Director of Communications, Monday - Friday, 9-5pm.

The delegate represents AMS students at the Ontario Undergraduate Student Alliance (OUSA) General Assembly to contribute to provincial post-secondary education policy. Responsibilities include attending mandatory training sessions and actively participating in breakout sessions and plenary discussions.

The Production Staff is responsible for operating media equipment to produce printing, photo, and video materials for internal and external customers. They must also maintain communication with supervisors, attend training sessions, and uphold company policies.

The Creative Hub Supervisor oversees daily operations, manages staff performance, and ensures high-quality production for media projects. They are responsible for maintaining equipment, monitoring inventory, and providing professional customer service to the Queen's community.

The Assistant Manager oversees daily store operations, including inventory management, staff training, and customer service. Additionally, they are responsible for creating clothing designs and marketing graphics using design software.

The Deputy Speaker mediates student government proceedings, enforces rules of order, and chairs assembly meetings in the absence of the Speaker. They also assist in producing meeting minutes, supporting student leaders, and fostering productive debate within the AMS Assembly.

Interns will contribute to various sections of The Queen's Journal by writing at least one story per week and developing story ideas. They will also conduct interviews, perform research, and collaborate with section editors to meet editorial deadlines.
