Cloud & Business Applications Specialist Location: Hybrid – Saskatoon, Saskatchewan Duration: 1 Year We are seeking a Cloud & Business Applications Specialist to manage and optimize Microsoft 365 and Azure environments while supporting a variety of business-critical applications. This is a hands-on role focused on Microsoft cloud administration, identity and access management, business application integration, automation, and cloud security. The successful candidate will work closely with internal teams and vendors to ensure applications and cloud services are secure, reliable, scalable, and aligned with business needs. Key Responsibilities Microsoft 365 & Azure Administration Administer Microsoft 365 services including Entra ID, Intune, SharePoint Online, Teams, and Exchange Online. Manage Azure resources including virtual networks, storage accounts, and data lake environments. Configure, maintain, and optimize cloud services based on business and user requirements. Support cloud implementations, integrations, and ongoing maintenance. Design and document secure, scalable cloud architectures and integration strategies. Business Applications Support Provide support for business applications outside the ERP environment, including tools such as AutoCAD, VOIP, and document management platforms. Manage application access, configuration, versioning, and lifecycle activities. Integrate business applications with Entra ID for provisioning and Single Sign-On (SSO). Troubleshoot application issues and coordinate with vendors and internal stakeholders. Maintain clear technical documentation covering application access, integrations, data storage, and configurations. Assess applications for security risks and vulnerabilities. Automation & AI Support identity protection and Conditional Access capabilities within Entra ID. Identify opportunities to automate repetitive business and IT processes using Power Automate and Azure Logic Apps. Collaborate with business teams to evaluate and implement automation and AI-driven solutions. Explore Azure AI services, including Azure OpenAI and Cognitive Services, to enhance business applications and user experiences. Required Qualifications Hands-on experience administering Microsoft 365 and Azure environments. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID, Intune, and endpoint management. Experience with cloud infrastructure, application integration, and identity/SSO solutions. Experience supporting business applications within a mid-sized or enterprise environment. Understanding of cloud security, access management, and Conditional Access. Strong technical documentation, communication, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams. Preferred Qualifications Microsoft certifications such as MS-102, AZ-104, or SC-300. Experience with Power Automate, Power Platform, or Azure Logic Apps. Exposure to Azure AI services or Azure OpenAI. Understanding of data lake architecture. Experience with SAP ByDesign or similar ERP platforms. Experience within mining, engineering, manufacturing, or other industrial environments.

Manage and optimize Microsoft 365 and Azure environments while supporting business-critical applications outside the ERP environment. Focus on identity management, cloud security, and automating business processes using Power Platform and Azure AI services.

Requires hands-on experience in Microsoft 365 and Azure administration, specifically with Entra ID and Intune. Candidates should possess strong skills in cloud infrastructure, application integration, and technical documentation.
