Your expertise in procurement and supplier management will directly impact the reliability and efficiency of rail systems that connect communities every day. Your role, Your impact Lead the full supplier selection process, including tender preparation and negotiations. Monitor procurement project QCDT and ensure compliance with work package commitments. Secure cost commitments by collaborating with costing and tender teams. Organize and lead Business Award processes using internal templates. Drive supplier performance improvements in coordination with the supplier quality team. You'll work with sharp, committed teams across engineering, operations, and design — solving complex challenges that shape the future of mobility. As a Buyer, you will be at the heart of supplier relationships and procurement excellence. What you bring Undergraduate degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field; Master’s in Purchasing/Business is a plus. 5 years of procurement experience in a design and manufacturing environment. Strong communication skills and a team-oriented, customer-centric mindset. Ability to work effectively in a matrix environment and drive results with autonomy. Proficiency in managing supplier relationships, conducting negotiations, and delivering fit-for-purpose solutions. How success is measured Achievement of on-time, cost-effective procurement project delivery. Quality and compliance of supplier performance throughout the product development cycle.
