Job Description 1 Position Available Term: 4 Months Start Date: May 3, 2027 About the Role Are you looking for an exciting and engaging summer internship? AltaGas is looking for a Business Development Intern to join our team for Summer 2027! As a Business Development Intern, you will gain hands-on experience supporting projects that help identify and evaluate growth opportunities across the business. This role is well suited for students who are curious about commercial strategy, market trends, and how businesses make investment and development decisions in the energy industry. What You’ll Do Learn how business opportunities are evaluated and supported within the energy sector. Assist with research and analysis to inform strategic planning and growth initiatives. Help prepare materials for internal discussions and leadership reviews. Participate in team meetings and assist with ad hoc tasks as needed What You’ll Bring Currently enrolled in your 2nd or 3rd year of an undergraduate degree in Economics, Business, Finance or a related field. Strong research and analytical skills; proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint). Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Interest in energy markets and commercial strategy. What You’ll Gain Hands-on experience in Business Development within the Midstream industry. Mentorship from experienced professionals and networking opportunities.
