Job Description Multiple Positions Available Term: 4 months or 8 months Start Date: May 3, 2027 About the Role Are you looking for an exciting summer internship experience? AltaGas is looking for multiple finance students to join our team! As a Finance Intern, you will gain hands-on experience supporting key financial processes across a leading North American energy infrastructure company. Working alongside experienced professionals in areas such as Tax, Cash Processing, Midstream Marketing Finance, or Midstream Planning & Reporting, you’ll contribute to meaningful projects while developing practical and analytical skills. This opportunity is ideal for students who are passionate about financial analysis, data-driven decision making, and contributing to business performance in a dynamic and collaborative environment. What You’ll Do Depending on your team placement, your responsibilities may include: Assisting with financial analysis, reporting, and data validation. Supporting budgeting, forecasting, and performance tracking activities. Preparing clear, accurate reports, dashboards, and presentations for internal stakeholders. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather and interpret financial information. Identifying opportunities to improve processes and enhance efficiency through automation or best practices. Supporting special projects and other business initiatives as required. What You’ll Bring Currently enrolled in your 2nd or 3rd year of an undergraduate degree program in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field. Proficient in Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis techniques. Analytical mindset with high attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent communication and organizational skills.
