Day-to-Day Activities: Design modular process skids (e.g., filtration skids, vacuum drying systems) for nuclear applications. Develop CAD models, fabrication drawings, P&IDs, technical specifications, and BOMs using SolidWorks. Size and select equipment like pumps, tanks, motors, and heat exchangers. Collaborate with construction, procurement, and stakeholders to ensure project alignment. Troubleshoot during equipment build, testing, and commissioning. Travel occasionally to client sites (e.g., Bruce Power, OPG) for field support. Candidate Requirements: Must-haves: 3+ years of piping system design experience. Proficiency in SolidWorks. Nice-to-have: Nuclear industry experience (e.g., CSA N299, ASME VIII or III). P.Eng. designation or eligibility. Knowledge of nuclear standards and codes. In accordance with our compensation practices, ALTEN is providing the salary range associated with this opportunity. Final compensation will be determined after considering several factors, including professional experience, skill set, educational background, certifications, and geographic market conditions. The current target salary range for this role is $80,000 – $120,000 per year.
