Position Title: Radio Duty Attendant, Revelstoke Company Name: CMH Heli-Skiing & Summer Adventures Reports To: Lodge Manager Location of Work: Revelstoke, BC Job Status: Full-time, Seasonal from early December to April FLSA Status: Non-Exempt Number of Positions: 1 Direct Reports: 0 Date of Last Review: August 2026 Desired Start Date: December 2026 Position Overview The Radio Duty Attendant position at CMH Revelstoke conducts radio dispatch for field operations, logistical support for the ski programs, and performs a variety of office duties. The position calls for an understanding of day-to-day operations, as well as the ability to perform administrative tasks, problem solve and deliver exceptional guest service. This is a seasonal job opportunity. This position is based on an 10-hour day, worked as a split shift. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Maintain record keeping of all air traffic and snow safety. Delegate efficiently when rescue plan is activated. Provide radio dispatch for field operations. Act as the base radio operator during emergency responses. Train and be proficient with the CMH Emergency Response Plan. Track helicopter, guest, and staff locations in field. Record and track helicopter flight time and fuel usage. Work with all departments to ensure smooth operations and day to day functions. Assist with tracking and recording skier information and reports. Assist with wildlife tracking and documentation. Assist with the cleaning of the shuttle vans and gear drying room, among other cleaning tasks. Driving of company vehicles. All employees will support the implementation of CMH health and safety and sustainability initiatives and participate in training and provide assistance as required during emergency response situations. Minimum Qualifications Radio Dispatch experience, an asset. Intermediate computer skills in Word and Excel. First aid certificate, preferred. Background in luxury hospitality or remote ski lodges, preferred. Competencies, Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other Qualities All CMH employees will demonstrate integrity, discretion, and critical thinking, along with adaptability and effective problem-solving skills. A positive, collaborative working style is essential, with the ability to build meaningful relationships with key internal and external stakeholders. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and strategic planning abilities are crucial. The candidate must be able to communicate clearly, effectively, and in a timely manner, maintaining professionalism and confidentiality in all interactions. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to quickly learn other relevant software platforms are important, as is the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment with fluctuating seasonal workloads and changing priorities. The role requires a trustworthy, goal-oriented, respectful, and self-directed individual who can navigate complex responsibilities. Additionally, the candidate must have the confidence to interact with all levels of the company, including those in remote locations within a hub-and-spoke model. Working Conditions This position consists of 3-4 shifts per week. The schedule will be created between you and your manager. Able to lift, carry, or otherwise move and position up to 20 pounds on an occasional basis. Manual dexterity to operate a computer and other common office equipment on a constant basis. This position is required, at times, to work on evenings, weekends, and holidays based on the needs of the business. This position may require occasional travel to CMH areas, as well as some travel to industry functions on an occasional basis. Compensation A competitive hourly rate will be provided based on skillset and experience, along with 4% vacation pay and potential opportunities to heli-hike and heli-ski, as available.
