Position Overview: The Shipper is responsible for managing the shipping and receiving of milk and milk products, ensuring timely deliveries, accurate record-keeping, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. This union position also involves adhering to safety and operational protocols and supporting smooth production flow. Location: ADL St. Eleanors, 36 Greenwood Dr, Summerside, PE Work Environment and Schedule: * Fast-paced production and logistics environment. * Physical tasks including lifting, operating pallet jacks, and maintaining cleanliness. * Adherence to safety protocols and teamwork required. * Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday — rotational shifts scheduled within the 5:00 AM – 7:00 PM window, with exact start and end times varying based on operational needs. * Alternating mid-week or weekend shift: * You will either work Wednesday or Saturday, not both in the same week * Saturday shifts typically end around 1:00 PM, but may go longer depending on workload Key Responsibilities: * Ship milk and milk products, including wrapping pallets and placing them in storage coolers or trucks. * Unload trucks, handling empty milk cases, driver returns, and outdated products. * Pick orders based on driver requests, process orders in the system, and generate load sheets. * Receive milk and products, verify orders against purchase orders, and organize items in their proper sections. * Order products from suppliers and generate purchase orders. * Clean and maintain the dock, pallets, and storage areas, ensuring workspaces are organized and sanitized. * Complete all paperwork accurately and on time. * Follow all safety regulations and operational procedures in daily tasks. * Provide operational and safety training to employees as required. Requirements: * Experience in shipping and receiving, preferably in a food or dairy production environment * Physically capable of lifting, standing for long periods, and working in cold, fast-paced environments * Able to safely operate pallet jacks and handle palletized loads with care and efficiency * Basic knowledge of food safety, workplace safety, and sanitation procedures * Comfortable using handheld scanners and basic computer systems for inventory and order processing * Strong attention to detail, with consistent accuracy in order picking and documentation * Reliable and self-directed, with a strong sense of accountability and urgency * Available for early morning shifts, weekends, and flexible scheduling based on operational needs * Clear and effective communication skills with team members and supervisors to ensure safe operations, proper material handling, and food safety compliance Ready to join our team? Requirements

Requires experience in shipping and receiving, preferably within a food or dairy production environment. Candidates must be physically capable of lifting and working in cold environments while being available for flexible shifts, including early mornings and weekends.
