As an SDE, you'll design and deliver the systems that make this possible — high-scale data pipelines, intelligent optimization engines, and intuitive experiences that drive real business outcomes. Key job responsibilities • Innovating and delivering creative SW Designs to develop new services, solve operational problems, drive improvements in developer velocity, or positively impact operational safety • Writing requirements capturing documents, design documents, integration test plans, and deployment plans • Communicating status and progress of deliverables to schedule, and sharing learnings/ innovations with your team and stakeholders • Building and leveraging multi-agent semi- or fully autonomous spec-driven software development pipelines Basic Qualifications: - 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience - 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience - Experience programming with at least one software programming language - AI fluency - leveraging agentic AI in daily software development and developing autonomous software development agents - AI fluency/Agentic AI - spec driven development Preferred Qualifications: - 5+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience - Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent - Proven experience in leveraging a multi-agent semi- or fully autonomous spec-driven software development Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status. As a total compensation company, Amazon's package may include other elements such as sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
