Job Description We are looking for a versatile, qualified, and professional Class 1 Driver to join our transportation team at our Lévis, Québec site, from Monday to Friday, 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. You will be responsible for the safe and efficient transport of metal materials to and from client sites and other AIM facilities. What You Are Responsible For Driving & Operating Heavy Vehicles Drive and maneuver several types of heavy vehicles, including: 4‑axle Roll‑off trucks 12‑wheel Roll‑off 12‑wheel Lugger 4‑axle carcass trucks Carcass bi‑train 4‑axle dump trucks 4‑axle flat‑beds 4‑axle walking‑floors 4‑axle live‑bottoms (belt‑floor trailers) Operating a variety of Class 1 utility vehicles to transport metal materials while ensuring compliance with road regulations and company policies Performing routine pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections of the truck, ensuring it is in proper working condition Safely loading and unloading metal materials onto the truck when required, using appropriate equipment, and secure loads to prevent shifting or damage during transport Completing accurate and thorough logs of deliveries and any other required documentation Providing high‑quality customer service Qualifications To Join Our Team: You have a valid Class 1 FM driver’s license and a good Driving Record You have experience driving manual transmission You have a minimum of 2 years of experience as a Class 1 driver You are customer‑service oriented with strong communication and interpersonal skills You have good physical endurance and the ability to perform loading and unloading activities when needed You have knowledge of metal recycling processes and materials (an asset) You have experience with dump trucks / Roll‑offs (an asset) You are in good physical condition and have strong safety awareness You have good customer service skills You are punctual, reliable, and respectful of equipment
