A brand-new pair of steel-toe boots provided on your first day Job Description We are currently looking for motivated individuals to join our team in Lévis, Quebec, Monday through Friday from 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. As a Metal Cutting Laborer, you will be responsible for cutting metal plates using an oxyfuel cutting system (torch). What you’re responsible for: Ensure equipment is in good working order before starting your day Use the torch to cut oversized metal parts according to department requirements Proceed with dismantling while respecting the integrity of the metals in order to maximize their value Keep the premises clean at all times Perform any other related tasks as requested Qualifications To join our team: You have experience working with metal cutting or using cutting tools (an asset). You have a good knowledge of metals (an asset) You are well aware of occupational health and safety (OHS) rules You are in good physical condition and have good manual skills You are independent, methodical, and proactive You are diligent, conscientious, and demonstrate good judgment in your work You are comfortable working outdoors 100% of the time, in a noisy and dusty environment with varying weather conditions (heat or cold Additional Information American Iron and Metal (AIM) and its subsidiaries are equal opportunity employers.
