Collaborate with clients and internal teams to analyze requirements and define specifications for automated systems Design system architectures that incorporate modularity, safety, and reliability principles Program PLCs, HMIs, SCADA systems, vision systems, and IoT solutions while ensuring compliance with standards and functional requirements Perform system integration, validation, and commissioning at customer sites Provide post-delivery technical support and optimize implemented solutions Prepare technical documentation and train operators and maintenance technicians Think this sounds like you, but you do not meet 100% of the requirements? Skills and qualifications that will help you integrate successfully at Creaform: Diploma in automated manufacturing engineering, automation, industrial instrumentation, industrial electronics, or a related field 3 to 5 years of relevant experience Proficiency with PLC programming platforms such as Studio 5000, TwinCAT, and TIA Portal Knowledge of machine safety standards, including CSA Z432 and ISO 13849 Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings Knowledge of motion control systems and industrial networking Experience with industrial software technologies such as C#, Python, and SQL is considered an asset Experience with electrical schematic design software is considered an asset Strong autonomy, attention to detail, versatility, analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and excellent communication abilities Demonstrated ability and willingness to use artificial intelligence (AI) tools to improve productivity, decision-making, work quality, and cost efficiency. The successful candidate must be able to identify appropriate AI use cases and critically evaluate AI-generated outputs.
