Job Summary Amorepacific Canada is seeking an experienced Assistant IT Manager to oversee the organization's IT operations, business systems, infrastructure, and technology initiatives. This role is responsible for ensuring the stability, security, and continuous improvement of the company's IT environment while providing reliable technology support for approximately 50+ office users. Reporting to the Sr Manager of Business Strategy & IT and working closely with Global Headquarters, local business teams, and external vendors, the Assistant IT Manager will lead business system enhancements, IT projects, infrastructure management, and operational support across SAP, EDI, logistics, and marketplace platforms. The ideal candidate is a collaborative, solutions-oriented professional with strong technical expertise, project management skills, and a passion for driving business efficiency through technology. Principal Accountabilities Responsibilities include but are not limited to: IT Operations & Service Management Oversee day-to-day IT operations and service delivery, ensuring reliable technology support across the organization. Manage IT support requests, issue resolution, escalation processes, and vendor performance to maintain high service standards. Monitor system performance and identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and user experience. Partner with Global Headquarters, internal stakeholders, and external service providers to support ongoing technology operations and enhancements. IT Projects & Business Transformation Lead and coordinate IT projects that support business growth, operational improvements, and Global Headquarters technology initiatives. Manage project planning, implementation, testing, vendor coordination, user acceptance testing (UAT), and post-go-live support. Serve as the primary liaison between Global Headquarters, business teams, logistics partners, and external vendors throughout project lifecycles. Ensure technology solutions align with business requirements while minimizing operational disruption during system implementations and upgrades. Business Systems & Operations Support Lead the administration, enhancement, and continuous improvement of key business applications, including SAP, EDI, 3PL logistics systems, and marketplace integrations. Collaborate with business stakeholders to define requirements and coordinate system enhancements with Global Headquarters and external vendors. Oversee EDI operations, partner onboarding, system integrations, and automation initiatives to improve operational efficiency. Support master data governance, reporting, business process improvements, and operational issue resolution across enterprise systems. Ensure stable system connectivity and data integrity across SAP, warehouse management, logistics providers, and third-party marketplace platforms. IT Governance & Asset Management Manage the lifecycle of IT assets, including procurement, inventory management, maintenance, and replacement planning. Develop and maintain IT policies, operational procedures, and end-user documentation. Manage technology vendors, service agreements, quotations, contracts, and IT-related budgets. Ensure compliance with corporate IT governance, procurement standards, and operational policies. Security & Infrastructure Management Oversee corporate IT security initiatives, including endpoint protection, access controls, data protection, and compliance with Global Headquarters security standards. Coordinate security audits, policy updates, and user awareness initiatives to strengthen the organization's security posture. Manage office network infrastructure, server room operations, VPN connectivity, telecommunications, and other business-critical technology services. Coordinate infrastructure upgrades, office expansion and relocation projects, and vendor-supported network services to ensure reliable and secure IT operations Qualification and Experience Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Business Management, Computer Science or Engineering, Information Technology preferred or any relevant technology field Minimum 7 years of progressive experience in IT operations, infrastructure, business systems, or IT project management. Strong IT operations and systems management experience, including hardware, software, network infrastructure, and enterprise applications such as SAP, EDI, Amazon, and Shopify. Proven experience leading IT projects and collaborating with cross-functional teams, external vendors, and regional/global stakeholders. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple initiatives and deliver results in a fast-paced environment. Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships across all levels of the organization. Demonstrated leadership skills with experience guiding cross-functional initiatives and supporting team development. Self-starter with a proactive mindset, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Results-oriented, resourceful, and adaptable with a strong sense of urgency and commitment to continuous improvement. Requirements
