*Job Summary* AMPD Is hiring!! We are looking to add a journeyman plumber to the team! Duties would be mainly installing handicap accessible tubs and showers. You will have a helper throughout each project when needed. We are also a general contractor so any other experience is a bonus. Gas ticket is an extra bonus! Please email resumes to [email protected] *Duties* * Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, and appliances in new construction and existing structures * Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute project plans * Use hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to assemble and install plumbing components with precision * Perform heavy lifting of materials and equipment safely to facilitate installation tasks * Conduct routine maintenance inspections to identify potential issues before they escalate * Collaborate with construction teams, carpenters, HVAC technicians, and other trades to ensure seamless project execution * Follow safety protocols diligently while working with schematics, schematics reading, and during assembly processes *Requirements* * Valid journeyman/woman plumber license or certification demonstrating completion of an approved apprenticeship program * Extensive mechanical knowledge including plumbing systems, HVAC components, and general maintenance practices * Proven construction experience with a strong understanding of blueprint reading and schematics interpretation * Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and basic math skills for precise measurements and calculations * Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining attention to detail during installation or repair tasks * Knowledge of schematics for plumbing layouts as well as general carpentry skills for supporting installations * Experience working with assembly processes involving piping systems or fixtures is preferred Join us if you?re passionate about delivering top-tier plumbing solutions!
