ABOUT THE ROLE As a Ready Mix Driver, you will safely operate a ready-mix truck to deliver concrete to customer job sites while maintaining product quality and adhering to all safety standards. You will work closely with dispatch and plant staff to ensure timely deliveries, complete required inspections and paperwork, and support plant operations through truck upkeep and general housekeeping. WHAT YOU’LL ACCOMPLISH Safely deliver ready-mix concrete to customer job sites while maintaining a live load and ensuring product quality throughout transport. Operate a ready-mix truck in compliance with all safety regulations, company policies, and road laws. Complete daily pre-trip inspections and circle checks to ensure equipment is operating safely and efficiently. Maintain clear and effective radio communication with dispatch and batch plant operators to coordinate deliveries. Accurately complete delivery tickets and required documentation for each load. Identify and report equipment defects or maintenance concerns to mechanics in a timely manner. Maintain the cleanliness and professional appearance of the ready-mix truck. Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety and environmental policies in all work environments and areas. Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviors. WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOREducation: High School Diploma or equivalent.Required Work Experience: 3 - 5 years of experience in the trucking industry with a clean driving record.Required Training/Certifications: Valid Class 1 or 3 driver’s licenseRequired Technical Skills: Manual and automatic transmission experience Additional Requirements: Safety Mindset Team player Strong communicator Problem solving skills Service oriented mindset Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators. Employees that are required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit tests. Requirements
