Job Title: ATQA-190 Testing and Quality Assurance Analyst Working Status: Services will be performed on site Location: Winnipeg, Manitoba Hours per day: 7.75 Mandatory Requirements Certification in software testing or quality assurance as recognized by the International Software Testing Qualifications Board, International Institute of Software Testing, or a similar governing body. Proof of the certification is requested with the response. Skills and Experience 10 years’ experience as a quality assurance analyst in a project environment including executing testing and the creation of test cases and test objectives. 10 years’ experience testing healthcare information systems to be implemented in a clinical environment. 10 years’ experience testing the Altera Sunrise suite of clinical applications including the registration and clinical documentation functionality. 5 years’ experience testing integration between information systems that use the Health Level 7 (HL7) standard. Experience should include validating messages that are properly mapped and processed by receiving systems. 5 years’ experience providing end user support during acute care healthcare transformation projects.Experience should include one-on-one coaching and troubleshooting. 5 years’ experience implementing or testing healthcare information systems designed to work in an urgent care or emergency care environment. 1 year of experience testing and implementing systems and processes designed to support the establishment of a new healthcare facility. Project Description: Digital Health, a Shared Health service, will facilitate the improvement and enablement of healthcare delivery transformation through the use of information and communication technology. The focus is to provide efficient, effective information management and communication technology processes across the provincial health sector.

Requirements

Requires a recognized software testing certification and over 10 years of experience in QA for clinical healthcare systems, specifically with Altera Sunrise. Candidates must have at least 5 years of experience with HL7 integration and urgent/emergency care environments.
