We are seeking a Packaging Changeover Technician to join our Operations Team in a full-time permanent position. Reporting into the Packaging Manager, the Packaging Changeover Technician will be responsible for completing equipment changeovers, production line setups, and basic equipment adjustments to support the safe and efficient operation of the Bottleshop. This role will work closely with the Packaging team to prepare equipment for scheduled production runs, troubleshoot basic mechanical issues, and ensure equipment meets both Company and Government quality standards while working with other team members to ensure safe work practices and the efficient operation of the Bottleshop. We are looking for someone with strong mechanical aptitude who enjoys working with equipment, solving problems, and supporting production. The successful candidate will be comfortable working the 12:00 am – 8:00 am night shift and will take pride in ensuring equipment is properly prepared for the production team. This teammate will be accountable to: • Complete equipment changeovers and line setups according to production schedules and established procedures. • Adjust, install, remove, and align equipment components as required for different products, formats, and packaging requirements. • Perform basic mechanical adjustments and troubleshooting to support efficient equipment operation. • Verify equipment settings and complete checks following changeovers to ensure the line is properly set up and ready for production. • Support the Packaging team with equipment setup and adjustments to minimize downtime and ensure efficient production changeovers. • Complete basic equipment care and preventative maintenance tasks as assigned, such as cleaning, lubrication, inspection, and tightening. • Communicate equipment issues requiring additional maintenance or repair to the Packaging Supervisor or appropriate Maintenance personnel. • Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), and established equipment procedures. • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area and ensure tools and equipment are properly stored after use. • Participate in training to develop knowledge of packaging equipment, processes, and changeover procedures. We are looking for a teammate with: • High School Diploma or GED. • Previous experience in a manufacturing, production, packaging, or equipment-related environment. • Strong mechanical aptitude and an ability to work comfortably with tools and production equipment. • Previous experience with equipment changeovers, machine setup, or basic mechanical adjustments is an asset. • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. • Good oral and written communication skills. • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced production environment. • Ability to follow procedures and work safely around production equipment. • Ability to work the 12:00am – 8:00 am night shift We offer: • Competitive hourly pay rate and shift premiums • On the job training and development • Strong leadership team • Growth and career development #APSJ We are conducting an internal and external search simultaneously.
