Our Saskatoon Service Center seeks a Technical Planner / Estimator to work closely with our internal and external stakeholders to provide short-term project management and production planning support for the re-manufacturing of large industrial centrifuges, and other solid/liquid separation and rotational devices. What We’re Looking For When selecting candidates, we will be looking for the following essential skills, abilities, and experience: Relevant Diploma or Degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology, mechanical preferred Knowledge and/or experience in high energy rotating components, centrifuges preferred but may be related to turbines, gears, turbine engines or similar Flexibility to work in a small entrepreneurial service center environment This position requires the ability to handle multi tasks with a short period of time An understanding of management practice in a strong engineering orientated OEM ISO 9000 organization Strong collaboration, interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills Ability to read manufacturing and assembly drawings Promote and maintain Company goodwill in all areas this assumes trustworthiness, honesty, and dependability Other valued, but non-essential skills, abilities, and experience include: Sales and marketing experience Working knowledge of general shop operations, including: final product test cell procedures, machining, welding, industrial mechanics, fabrication, purchasing, warehousing and internal lead-times Working knowledge of ERP business systems and Microsoft Office products.
