We are seeking a Technical Sales Engineer to support our Fabrics & Rolls business in Quebec, partnering closely with paper mills to identify optimization opportunities, deliver value-based solutions, and grow long-term customer relationships. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- WHAT YOU'LL DO As a Technical Sales Engineer, you will serve as a trusted technical advisor to paper mills, combining hands-on paper machine expertise with consultative sales to improve customer performance and drive ANDRITZ growth. Customer Engagement & Technical Sales * Build and maintain strong relationships with paper mill customers across Quebec and Eastern Canada * Identify opportunities for paper machine clothing, roll covers, bowed rolls, and related services * Conduct paper machine audits, service calls, and optimization studies * Support customers during shutdown inspections, troubleshooting, and performance improvement initiatives Optimization & Performance Support * Perform paper machine optimization and press section studies, including Rezolve™ press optimization * Analyze machine performance using proprietary modeling and diagnostic tools * Troubleshoot operating challenges and recommend practical, value-driven solutions * Proactively identify issues to reduce warranty exposure and improve long-term machine performance Reporting & Collaboration * Prepare clear, professional on-site reports, recommendations, and follow-ups * Maintain detailed customer and machine records, including PMC, rolls, installations, and product life data * Communicate field activity, opportunities, and competitive insights to the Sales Manager * Provide monthly summaries and forecasts highlighting opportunities, mill conditions, and territory priorities -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR * Degree in Engineering, Business, or equivalent experience * Hands-on experience in paper mills (production, maintenance, reliability, process, or technical sales) * Strong knowledge of paper machine clothing, press sections, rolls, or machine optimization * Proven ability to build relationships and communicate effectively at all mill levels * Entrepreneurial, self-driven, and comfortable working independently in the field * Strong computer skills (Word, Excel, databases / CRM) * Ability to travel within the assigned Quebec / Eastern Canada territory Preferred * Experience with paper machine clothing, rolls, or press optimization * Background in technical sales, applications engineering, or field service * Familiarity with paper machine audits and shutdown support -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- WHY JOIN ANDRITZ FABRICS & ROLLS * Work with a globally recognized leader in paper machine performance * Combine technical expertise with customer impact * Long-term customer relationships and stable territory * Competitive compensation and expense support * Strong technical, sales, and service team collaboration All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, or disability.

Requirements
