The janitor is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of the building, including interior cleaning and exterior maintenance. Duties include floor care, trash removal, sanitization, snow clearing, and responding to tenant requests.

The part-time janitor at Waneta Plaza is responsible for maintaining a clean and presentable building, both inside and out. The worker will work up to 32 hours per week, subject to the return of the incumbent currently on a leave of absence. Key responsibilities: Sweep and mop floors Vacuum carpets Emptying trash Sanitizing restroom and other high traffic areas Snow clearing in winter and landscaping in summer months General cleaning as assigned Respond to tenant and customer requests Qualifications: Must have the ability to operate commercial cleaning equipment and snow removal equipment Must work with cleaning chemicals; training will be provided Standing/walking for extended periods of time Must be energetic, flexible, and reliable Must be friendly, courteous, self-motivated, and professional Ability to multi-task Ability to work independently The ideal candidate will have the ability to make minor repairs throughout the shopping centre.
