You are A strong communicator An active listener who seeks to understand and listen to others A creative problem solver - you think outside the box for solutions without fear of failure A strong team player who understands the value of collaboration You will Be accountable for maintaining Anthem’s model line and production files Understand the local homebuilding market and overall industry and homebuilding trends, to expand, update and refine existing model lines Assist with the design and development of new home models, from concept to working drawings, paying attention to Anthem Guidelines and applicable Bylaws for both Calgary and Edmonton regions Create blackline set of drawings, floor plans, sections, pre-planned options Liaise with Construction and Estimating with regards to construction details and engineering efficiencies Collaborate across Anthem for Product Development and Specifications Design Show Homes, including Sales Centers, and review as-built construction issues as they arise (framing, engineering, floor and roof layouts, finishing, electrical); drive changes when required Provide support to Anthem’s external contractors (drawing guidelines, architectural controls, suggestions on models, drawing mark ups, etc.) Maintain Anthem standards and plan consistency for all stock plans and details Liaise with City regarding code, bylaw, or application concerns/questions Maintain positive relationships with industry officials, sub trades and suppliers Keep current on code, bylaws, and industry changes by attending industry seminars, information sessions, product demonstrations, engineering and other courses Keep current on Alberta code, bylaw and industry changes (attend industry seminars, information sessions, PHBI courses, product demonstrations, engineering, etc.) You have A post-secondary degree in Architectural Technologies, Civil Engineering or equivalent 5+ years of residential construction industry experience Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD and Microsoft Office products Strong organizational skills and are extremely detail-oriented Proven experience with project cost controls and maintaining set budgets We have Great, diverse, authentic people! Requirements

Candidates must have a post-secondary degree in Architectural Technologies, Civil Engineering, or an equivalent field. A minimum of 5 years of residential construction experience and proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD are required.
