Job Summary Anzie is looking for a motivated, organized, and detail-oriented production manager to join our team in Montreal, QC, Canada. Daily tasks will include leading the production team in creating jewelry orders for stores and direct to consumer clients. The ideal skills involved making sure the jewelry quality is checked, the orders are produced in a timely manner, and commication with team and clients is key. ideal skills also include problem-solving, coordination within our team, communication with suppliers, and local artisans producing the jewelry by hand. Use of different platforms and inventory management applications such as Odoo, ShipStation, Excel, FLXPOINT, DSCO, shipping websites such as fedex and ups. Patience is a key part of the role as well as speed in getting back to team members and clients. Key Responsibilities include: Production Leadership & Planning Manage and maintain production calendars, timelines, and delivery schedules. Lead weekly production meetings with internal teams. Coordinate schedules, address production issues, and maintain seamless operational workflows. Supplier & Producer Management Serve as the primary liaison with suppliers, producers, and external manufacturing partners. Ensure partners follow our standards for quality, ethics, and accuracy. Inventory Monitor inventory levels. Oversee receiving, inspection, and allocation of incoming components. Quality Control Ensure all finished goods meet Anzie’s quality standards and design specifications. Implement quality checks for all outgoing orders before shipping. Review pulled items for accuracy, defects, and consistency. Documentation, Compliance & Partner Requirements Prepare, update, and maintain detailed spec files for various retail and wholesale partners, ensuring compliance with each partner’s format, technical requirements, and standards. Ensure all product data, measurements, metals, gemstones, costs, and codes are accurate and current across platforms. Shipping, Logistics & Customs Oversee international shipping for wholesale and e-commerce orders. Prepare and verify all documentation required for cross-border shipments, including customs declarations, commercial invoices, and tariff codes. Coordinate with customs brokers and carriers to resolve clearance issues and ensure timely delivery. Track shipments proactively and communicate delays or required interventions to internal teams. Team Management Supervise production coordinators and assistants. Train team members on all order-processing systems (Odoo, ShipStation, Excel, FLXPOINT, DSCO, FedEx). Ensure consistent adherence to Anzie’s operational and quality protocols. Ideal Experience & Skills Experience in production management, jewelry or fashion industry preferred. Strong understanding of gemstones, metals, and findings (asset). Proficient in Odoo, Excel, ShipStation, and order management platforms (DSCO, FLXPOINT). Excellent organizational, analytical, and time-management skills. Strong communication skills with staff, producers, and suppliers. Ability to multitask, meet deadlines, and implement process improvements. High attention to detail and commitment to quality. Training will be provided on Anzie's internal systems and processes.
