API Inspector - Full-Time Embedded Position Apave Canada has immediate, Full-Time position available for API Inspector certified technician within our Advanced Service Department in Regina, Saskatchewan. This position is full time embedded into a client site. Who we are: Apave Canada has been serving the oil and gas, petroleum and petrochemical, chemical, power generation, pipeline and potash industries since 1953. Our Canadian operations currently provide services from Edmonton, Regina, Calgary, Cold Lake, Saskatoon, Fort McMurray, Grande Prairie, Lloydminster, Nisku, Red Deer. Our USA operations provide services from 23 office locations, our United Kingdom operations provide services from 7 office locations, and our Australian operations provide services from 5 locations. Our growth is primarily due to our combination of experienced management and strong technical skills, combined with a high commitment to customer service. Job Duties: Conducting non-destructive testing (NDT) inspections and examinations at facilities and field sites for a wide range of industries. Interpreting NDT results and providing recommendations based on findings. Maintaining NDT equipment and ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. Collaborating with clients and cross-functional teams to ensure project success and customer satisfaction. Required Skills and Experience: A current API 510 certification is required. (Additional API certifications would be considered an asset). CGSB UT level 1 certification and a minimum of 1-2 years' experience in NDT inspection would be considered an asset. Additional CGSB certifications would be considered an asset. Ability to work independently and in a team environment. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Willingness to work in a rapidly changing environment. Strong written and oral communication skills. Safety Requirements: • Steel-toe boots are required; Apave Canada will provide additional PPE. Compensation will be commensurate with experience and qualifications. Great Health benefits package will be provided after a 3-month probationary period. Legal entitlement to work in Canada is mandatory. All potential employees will be required to complete a pre-employment alcohol and drug screening.
