We have an exciting opportunity for a Forklift Operator to join our Packaging team in Langley, BC. This is a full-time, permanent position, with an excellent benefits package, and room for growth. Essential Duties And Responsibilities Using a forklift and/or pallet jack to safely and efficiently move and lift aluminum logs that are 20-25 ft long and around 1000 lbs. in weight, as well as other heavy material loads. Operate all equipment in a safe and efficient manner following prescribed work methods. On a daily basis, inspect and perform minor maintenance on the forklift or other equipment (i.e., adding hydraulic fluid if necessary) Ensure job quality meets company standards and customer requirements. Assist in other parts of the plant including loading/unloading as required. Other duties, as assigned. Knowledge/Experience And Skills Forklift experience (minimum 1 year production floor experience required). Previous experience in driving Hyster and other similar equipment (preferred). Warehouse distribution experience. Good verbal and written communication skills. Safely move and lift heavy aluminum logs and materials using forklifts and pallet jacks. Perform daily equipment inspections and minor maintenance to ensure operational safety and quality standards.

Requires a minimum of one year of production floor forklift experience, preferably with Hyster equipment. Candidates must be physically fit and possess a positive, reliable attitude.
