Electromagnetic Compatibility Engineer

Qualifications – (Must have – Updated JD – Client is looking for): Knowledge of electromagnetic fields, theory and transmission line phenomena, antennas and propagation, signal integrity, and EMI/EMC. Knowledge of 14 CFR 25.954 and 25.981 regulations and fuel tank protection against lightning, HIRF, static electricity, and other hazards. The candidate shall be familiar with the relevant industry standards and best practices (DO-160, SAE ARP, FAA advisory circulars, and regulations), as well as other applicable airworthiness regulations. You are familiar with regulatory working relationships with TC, EASA, or FAA, and you must be capable of obtaining DAD / DAR status.

The engineer will manage electromagnetic compatibility and signal integrity within the aerospace domain. They will ensure compliance with airworthiness regulations and industry standards regarding lightning protection and HIRF.

Candidates must possess deep knowledge of electromagnetic fields, antennas, and EMI/EMC theory. Expertise in aviation regulations such as DO-160 and the ability to obtain DAD/DAR status is required.
