Wages: $38.59 – $46.32 per hour. What You Will Do: In this unionized position of Technician, Distribution Operations, you will play an essential role within our Operations Team. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: * Efficiently operating and maintaining natural gas pipeline systems; * Ensuring all required documentation is completed on time as required by regulations; * Responding to natural gas related emergencies; * Performing construction tasks as per policies and procedures; and * Representing the Company to customers and the public. What You Will Bring: Required qualifications: * High School Diploma or equivalent; * Three years in a related field, of which one year involves performing the operations functions of a natural gas utility; * Valid Province of Alberta Class 5 driver’s license; * A clean driver's abstract is also required for this position; and * Ability to perform all necessary physical requirements Note: The successful candidate will be required to live within 30 minutes driving time from our Leduc District Office to respond to natural gas related emergencies. Preferred skills and qualifications: * Mechanical aptitude and dexterity when using tools, equipment, and instruments; * Utility line locating experience is considered an asset * Good communication skills, decision making skills and a strong work ethic; * Ability to establish good working relationships and provide excellent customer service; * Proficiency working with various computer software systems including Microsoft Office suite; * Good judgment and maintain motivation and performance when working independently and; * Safe work habits and adherence to safety regulation. Requirements

Candidates must have a high school diploma and at least three years of related experience, including one year in a natural gas utility. A valid Class 5 driver's license and the ability to live within 30 minutes of the Leduc office are mandatory.
