Applied Industrial Technologies is currently seeking and has an immediate opening for a qualified and motivated individual to fill the position of Customer Service Representative at our Kelowna, British Columbia location. In this role, you will provide our customers with expert assistance to a wide variety of questions and problems. Unlike most CSR roles, you will build ongoing business relationships with our customers through repeated contact and consultation. As this is a service and parts center, our ability to get customers’ business often depends on your ability to quickly and efficiently provide them with the right parts and/or solutions – especially when customers are experiencing costly equipment breakdowns. You may also occasionally have hands-on duties that will require mechanical aptitude. The Successful Candidate Will Be Responsible For Inside Sales responsibilities Directly engaged in all sales activities Maintaining up to date knowledge of the company’s service offerings Prospecting for new customers and demonstrate product benefits Build ongoing relationships with customers Responding to customer product inquiries both in person (branch) and via phone/email Providing support to the outside sales force Ensuring accurate, timely order processing through the computerized order processing system Preference will be given to candidates who possess the following qualifications: 2 or more years of Industrial or Fluid Power components sales experience Self-motivated Enthusiastic and exhibits a positive attitude and desire to succeed Interest in customer satisfaction and desire to provide excellent service always Ability to multitask in a busy office environment while maintaining professionalism at all times Attention to detail Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal Analytical and problem-solving capability Computer literacy with focus on Outlook, Word, Excel, etc SAP experience would be an asset You Will Be Part Of a Stable And Established Company With Consistently Strong Performance And Growth.
