They also perform cashier duties, clear tables, clean kitchen areas, wash dishes, and perform various other activities related to serving food and beverages. Education & Qualifications A minimum of Grade 12 diploma from a recognized institution as approved by the Board of Education or General Educational Development (GED) A minimum of one (1) year experience operating and managing a catering or food business required for permanent employment and preferred for casual employment Safe Food Handling Course Certificate Standard First Aid Certificate Valid Class 5 driver's license Physical Requirements: The ability to do heavy work is required in some assignments (i.e., exerting up to 100 lbs. of force occasionally, up to 50 lbs. of force frequently, and/or up to 20 lbs. of force constantly to lift students and/or move objects). Wage & Benefits: In accordance with the current CUPE Local 5512 Collective Bargaining Agreement. Currently, this is a range of $18.34 - $20.77 per hour.
