As a Senior Project Manager with Appnovation, you’ll be responsible for managing multi-functional teams in the business of consulting, designing, developing, training and supporting digital transformation and digital marketing solutions for our clients around the world! You will have the opportunity to Lead and manage multiple complex projects concurrently Work closely with strategists, developers, architects, product managers, designers, and the client's representatives to define the direction, approach and requirements to project manage the discovery, design and execution Participate in the pre-sales process (opportunity management, oversee and run pre-sales teams to create responses to RFPs, estimates, etc.) Manage project budgets and maintain costs to remain within or under budget Analyze profitability, revenue, margins, and utilization across projects Determine project schedules, create detailed project plans and scope statements, and write status reports for each stage of the project Estimate and track project costs, develop resource plans, and work to assess potential issues and risks Define project management policies and ensure their implementation in all stages of a project Develop impact assessments, statements of work, and other project documentation Grow long-term relationships with clients and capitalize on “add-on” sales opportunities across projects while constantly seeking out new opportunities with existing clients Provide leadership and guidance to all members of the project team and to other Delivery team members Identify and provide recommendations for process improvement in the delivery of projects Who you are First and foremost, you are passionate about new technology, incredible with clients, and widely recognized for the depth of your Project Management skills 10+ years of Project Management experience in a digital agency, professional services or consulting environment, with a focus on managing large client-facing project teams and budgets Comfortable working with clients and discussing technical and business requirements Business analysis and requirements management experience an asset Excellent organizational and time management skills, and are able to communicate project details Able to estimate project costs, set deadlines, and effectively manage teams of professionals to meet deadlines Experience managing projects with substantial logistics, complexity and budgets in excess of $1M Excellent English written and verbal communication skills with the proven ability to effectively communicate across different levels of the organization Preferably located in or close to Vancouver or Toronto An excellent working background with Agile and Waterfall methodologies A technical background with a solid understanding of, or hands-on experience with, software engineering, including experience in mobile development, web development or multi-tech platform implementation an asset Understanding of client business requirements, and the ability to present them in a form which is comprehensible to business users and technical professionals Fundamentally driven by ensuring good process and able to adapt different approaches and methodologies Exceptional planning, organizational and problem-solving skills Able and keen to work in a very fast paced, growth environment Interested in directly influencing the continued growth of Appnovation Project Management and/or Scrum Master certifications are a plus Ideally you have experience project managing health science related applications & solutions What Appnovation Offers Challenging and rewarding work with real impact Direct Access to Cutting-Edge AI Platforms Diverse and Inclusive Culture Growth opportunities for personal and professional development A collaborative and innovative work environment where your ideas are valued Exposure to exciting projects and high-profile clients Supportive work environment with access to company leaders Hybrid working model What Benefits Appnovation Has to offer Private Medical Insurance Dental Plan Registered Retirement Savings Plan Wellness Allowance ME Days Employee Assistance Programme Fertility and Menopause Leave Thank you for your interest in a career with Appnovation Technologies!
