Position: C# Azure Developer Location: Remote – Canada Job Type: Contract Experience: 10+ years (preferred) Job Summary We are seeking an experienced C# Azure Developer to design, develop, enhance, and maintain cloud-based applications using Microsoft technologies. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with C#, .NET, Microsoft Azure services, REST APIs, and cloud-native application development. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, test, and maintain applications using C#, Strong experience with Microsoft Azure cloud services. Build and deploy cloud-based applications and services using Microsoft Azure. Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and microservices. Work with Azure Functions, Azure App Services, Azure Storage, and Azure Service Bus. Develop secure, scalable, and high-performance application components. Implement authentication and authorization using Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) and OAuth 2.0. Work with Azure SQL Database, SQL Server, and Entity Framework Core. Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps. Use Git for source control, code reviews, and collaborative development. Troubleshoot application issues, perform root-cause analysis, and resolve production defects. Write unit tests and participate in integration testing and code quality reviews. Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile/Scrum environment. Follow security, coding, testing, and deployment best practices. Monitor application performance and troubleshoot cloud application issues. Required Technical Skills Strong hands-on experience with C# and object-oriented programming. Practical experience developing and deploying applications on Microsoft Azure. Proficiency in .NET, .NET Core, and ASP.NET Core. Experience building REST APIs and integrating enterprise applications. Knowledge of Azure Functions, App Services, and other Azure PaaS services. Experience with SQL Server or Azure SQL Database. Experience with Entity Framework or Entity Framework Core. Familiarity with Azure DevOps, Git, and CI/CD pipelines. Understanding of application security, authentication, and authorization. Strong debugging, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
