This organization stands at the forefront of its industry, driven by strategic vision, in-depth research, robust design principles, and technical innovation. They are actively seeking exceptional digital professionals to join their team and bring their ambitious vision to life. Are you a visionary designer ready to shape the future of digital products for millions? In this pivotal role, you will instinctively weave together iconography, typography, color, space, and texture to simplify and enhance how customers navigate essential products and services. You’ll leverage your expertise to craft designs that inspire, engage, and excite, directly influencing the user journey and elevating the overall digital experience for a vast audience. What You’ll Do As a key contributor, you will thrive in agile team environments and iterative design processes, collaborating seamlessly with interdisciplinary team members and stakeholders. You’ll analyze, design, and articulate your mobile and responsive design vision, acting as a natural problem solver, communicator, and facilitator throughout the entire product lifecycle—from initial idea generation to final implementation. Your work will directly contribute to creating intuitive and impactful digital solutions. Visual Design Strategy: Improve user comprehension and task performance through sophisticated visual-spatial displays, including dynamic visualizations for analytic thinking with large datasets. Drive efficiency and consistency across platforms by creating reusable visual components within a broader design system. Lead ideation sessions, facilitate collaborative work activities, and present compelling visual design work to senior stakeholders. Visual Design Creation: Apply visual design theory, research data, and best practices to craft high-complexity digital artifacts (web or native app) that effectively exchange information, elicit emotion, and facilitate interaction. Produce low-fidelity sketches, high-fidelity mock-ups, and interactive prototypes to clearly communicate design intent and deliver precise specifications for development teams. Facilitate design critiques, evaluate designs for inclusivity, provide expert guidance to cross-functional teams, and contribute practical direction on organizational visual communication standards, tools, and processes. Research and Testing: Facilitate usability testing sessions and actively participate in or initiate user research activities to gather valuable insights. Research visual design and communication strategies across the sector, perform competitive audits tied to business goals, and conduct visual design quality audits when appropriate. Why Join Our Team? Inclusive Culture: Work in an environment where designers feel included, valued, and heard, surrounded by supportive peers who excel in their field. Scale & Impact: Create solutions used by millions of people while contributing to a global digital leader that genuinely prioritizes customer experience. Innovation: Partner with a forward-thinking team pushing the boundaries of digital product design to improve the lives of the people and communities we serve. Must-Haves Education & Experience: BA/BS degree in Design (e.g., Interaction, Graphic, Visual Communications, Product, Industrial), Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience. Portfolio: A compelling portfolio demonstrating strong web and/or mobile digital design samples. Design Expertise & Tools: Solid mastery of core design principles (typography, grid systems, visual hierarchy, color theory, whitespace) and proficiency with industry-standard tools such as Figma, Mural, and UserTesting.com. Technical Understanding: Proven understanding of responsive design practices and experience working within an agile framework. Nice-to-Haves Experience designing outstanding digital products and end-to-end customer experiences. Proven ability to articulate conceptual ideas and design rationale clearly within a user-centered design process. Strong problem-solving, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
