We are presently accepting resumes for a number of Permanent Full-Time Support Worker III - Day Line positions. This position will be assigned to work in our group homes in Barrie, working up to 75 hours biweekly. Compensation Package Additional hours may be available with a minimum rate of pay of $26.48/hour; 11 paid Statutory Holidays; Confidential Employee Assistance program for you and for your immediate family; Following The Successful Completion Of Probation Employer paid life insurance, short- and long-term disability, health and dental benefits; Employer paid vacation and sick time; Participation in the Multisector Pension plan; Minimum Qualifications Developmental Service Worker diploma or an acceptable educational equivalency (Child and Youth Worker, Early Childhood Education, Social Service Worker, Nursing, Psychology, etc.) as determined by the employer is required; 6 months direct work experience with the Developmental Services Sector; Candidates who have a completed Degree or Diploma from an accredited college or university in an unrelated field must have 2 years full-time work experience directly supporting people; When submitting your resume and cover letter, please also upload a copy of your diplomas / degrees. Responsibilities include providing support for personal care, household duties, meal preparation and finances. You may also support people to appointments or events to foster connections within the community.
