Employee Assistance Program (EAP). Responsibilities Define, maintain and optimize process parameters to ensure operational stability, quality and performance. Ensure compliance with procedures, process control and the monitoring of critical production variables. Analyze process performance, identify the root causes of recurring issues and recommend appropriate corrective actions. Define and prioritize improvement projects based on operational results and customer needs. Act as the owner of Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) activities and control plans for the processes under their responsibility. Support operations teams in resolving technical problems, training employees and implementing best practices. Participate in development projects, mill trials, research activities and the evaluation of new technologies. Collaborate with research centres, suppliers and technical partners to improve processes and product quality. Promote a culture focused on health and safety, collaboration and continuous improvement. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Metallurgical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Materials Engineering or a related discipline. Relevant experience in a role related to metallurgical processes. Experience in the steel industry or a similar manufacturing environment. Knowledge of wire rod, wire drawing, galvanizing or pickling processes is considered an asset. Excellent computer and analytical skills. Ability to communicate in French and English. Availability for occasional international travel.
