<h3>Job Description</h3><div>Job Description<div><p>Archibald Builder Group is seeking Carpenters and Apprentice Carpenters for current and upcoming projects. </p><p> <b><strong> Responsibilities</strong></b></p><ul><li>Read and interpret detailed blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to execute precise carpentry work.</li><li>Construct, install, and repair frameworks such as walls, floors, ceilings, and roofing using hand tools and power tools.</li><li>Perform concrete forming and rebar installation for foundations and structural elements.</li><li>Install cabinetry, flooring, tiles, siding, and other finishing components with attention to detail.</li><li>Assist with restoration projects by repairing or replacing damaged woodwork and structures.</li><li>Measure accurately and cut materials to specifications using saws, drills, and other woodworking tools.</li><li>Collaborate with project managers and other tradespeople to ensure timely completion of tasks while maintaining safety protocols.<br><br><b><strong>Requirements</strong></b></li><li>Proven experience in carpentry or related construction fields with a strong understanding of woodworking techniques.</li><li>Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings confidently.</li><li>Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and heavy lifting equipment.</li><li>Knowledge of construction estimating processes and material calculations.</li><li>Experience with masonry, roofing, siding installation, plumbing, electrical work, or manufacturing is a plus.</li><li>Familiarity with concrete forming, rebar installation, tile laying, flooring installation, caulking, drywall finishing, and construction painting.</li><li>Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt quickly to project needs; handyman experience is advantageous.</li><li>Physical stamina for extended periods of standing, bending, lifting heavy materials safely, and working at heights when necessary.</li></ul><p><br />Wages dependent on experience $18.00 to $45.00 per hour <br><br>40-60 hours a week.</p><p><br /></p><p>Thunder Bay in town work. </p></div></div>
