Job summary

Senior Business Development Representative Reports to: Vice President of Sales Territory: Canada Language: English (French is an asset) Location: Remote (Canada) Position Type: Full-time, fixed-term contract (minimum 12 months) Compensation: Base Salary: $50,000–$60,000 The role This isn’t your average sales development role. You’ll be on the front lines of a category-defining (that means no one owns the space yet!) coaching product, learning how to craft value-driven outreach and start meaningful conversations with progressive companies, while working closely with our Vice President, Sales and Director, Business Development to build scalable sales systems. What you’ll be doing Prospecting: Identifying and researching target companies that align with Arcora’s mission and ideal customer profile. Outreach: Launching outbound campaigns through multiple channels (think email, LinkedIn and video) to spark curiosity and generate meetings. Discovery: Qualifying inbound and outbound leads and setting up thoughtful discovery calls for the Director, Business Development and VP, Sales. Experimentation: Testing new messaging, channels and approaches—we want someone who thinks like a builder. Collaboration: Working directly with various team members in Sales, Marketing & Communications and Coaching to refine our pitch and expand into new verticals. Tracking & CRM: Maintaining our CRM platform (HubSpot), updating activity logs and helping build scalable processes. What success looks like In your first three to six months, you’ll: launch and iterate outbound campaigns. consistently generate qualified meetings each week. develop a deep understanding of our services and ideal customer profile. Your talents We’re looking for someone who… has experience selling or supporting products related to HR technology, coaching, learning and development or software as a service (SaaS). has used CRM software (HubSpot experience an asset) and knows how to use list-building tools and sequences. is passionate about health and human potential development. Bonus points if you… have worked in outbound sales (including sales development or business development roles) in a startup or high-growth environment. have had professional coaching or have seen the value in coaching for individuals and teams. are also proficient in French (a strong asset). have related industry experience (Canadian insurance, health technology, workplace well-being or learning and development).
