Role Description This is a full-time, on-site position located in Calgary, Alberta, for an Electrical and Controls Engineer. The role involves designing and developing electrical systems, troubleshooting technical issues, and implementing control systems for various projects. Responsibilities also include ensuring compliance with industry standards, collaborating with clients and multidisciplinary teams, and overseeing project execution to deliver high-quality results efficiently. Qualifications Proficiency in Electrical Controls and Electrical Design for industrial and commercial applications Strong foundational knowledge in Electrical Engineering principles Experience in Control Systems Design and implementation Ability to troubleshoot electrical and controls-related issues Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills Strong communication and collaboration abilities within interdisciplinary teams Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field Professional designation with APEGA, APEGS, or EGBC is highly preferred Familiarity with PLC/DCS/HMI programming and medium/high voltage systems is an asset
