Job summary
Argano is seeking a Lead Varicent Consultant to join our Sales Performance team. We specialize in designing, building, and deploying sales performance management systems on our partner platforms. As a Lead Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in guiding client engagements, leading project teams, and ensuring successful delivery of complex, enterprise-level solutions. RESPONSIBILITIES: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, building strong relationships and ensuring alignment with business objectives. Lead discovery sessions to derive and understand client business needs, and translate them into actionable requirements. Oversee solution design and architecture, collaborating with team leaders and technical specialists. Configure and optimize Varicent Incentives systems to meet client requirements. Design and implement robust data integration strategies (ETL processes). Drive quality assurance and testing phases, ensuring adherence to best practices and client expectations. Develop rollout strategies and readiness plans for system deployment. Mentor and guide Senior Consultants and project team members, fostering knowledge sharing and professional growth. Support project managers in risk management, resource planning, and delivery oversight. Contribute to practice development by identifying opportunities for innovation and process improvement. MINIMUM AND PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Education: Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Information Technology, Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Engineering, or a related field. Experience & Skills: 5+ years of experience with Varicent Incentives, including solution design and implementation. Proven track record of leading mid-size to large-scale projects and managing client relationships. Strong understanding of data models, object models, and emerging technologies. Advanced SQL skills and experience writing detailed design specifications. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present to executive stakeholders. Deep knowledge of software development and implementation life cycles. Experience with major relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server, etc.). Ability to prioritize, multitask, and lead cross-functional teams effectively.
