Job summary

Maintenance Technician – Residential Rental Property We are seeking a dependable and motivated Maintenance Technician to join our residential property management team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the building, completing repairs, preparing vacant units, and ensuring a safe and pleasant living environment for residents. Responsibilities Complete maintenance and repair work orders efficiently. Perform preventative maintenance and routine building inspections. Prepare vacant apartments for new residents. Conduct general repairs, including plumbing, electrical, drywall, painting, carpentry, and appliance maintenance. Maintain common areas, mechanical rooms, and exterior grounds. Respond to resident maintenance requests professionally and promptly. Coordinate with contractors and suppliers when required. Assist with emergency maintenance situations and on-call duties as needed. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and company standards. Perform other related duties as assigned. Qualifications Experience in residential, commercial, or multifamily property maintenance. Strong knowledge of general building systems and repairs. Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks. Good communication and customer service skills. Valid driver's license considered an asset. Relevant certifications or trade experience are considered assets.
