Location: Mississauga, ON Canada Shift: Monday to Friday, 9:00 PM – 5:00 AM Pay Rate: $23.00/hour Start Date: ASAP Employment Type: Full-Time We are currently seeking an experienced Linehaul Coordinator to support fleet planning, load optimization, customer service, and carrier utilization. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning fleet movements, prioritizing customer loads, ensuring service compliance, and optimizing fleet utilization while maintaining cost effectiveness and profitability. This role will work closely with fleet management, customer service, brokerage teams, internal stakeholders, and third-party carriers to ensure loads are serviced efficiently, on time, and at the lowest practical cost. Typical Responsibilities: Plan fleet movements and match available trucks with committed customer loads. Optimize fleet utilization while balancing service requirements, costs, and profitability. Determine when third-party carriers are required and coordinate with brokerage teams. Monitor fleet capacity and identify opportunities to accept additional profitable loads. Coordinate with Fleet Managers and Customer Service teams to ensure timely and accurate service. Monitor fleet availability, positioning, and compliance with transportation and customer requirements. Analyze operational data and metrics to support decision-making and improve performance. Maintain accurate reports, records, and administrative documentation. Provide leadership and direction to relevant operational and customer service personnel. Minimum: 3–5 years of experience in transportation/logistics or a related industry. Minimum 2 years of fleet management experience. Canadian transportation/logistics experience is mandatory. Strong knowledge of fleet utilization, load planning, and transportation operations. Strong analytical, problem-solving, planning, and decision-making skills. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Demonstrated leadership/supervisory experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and transportation/logistics software.
