Location: Blackwater Mine site Schedule: Two (2) Weeks On – Two (2) Weeks Off Rotation Employment Type: Permanent Responsibilities Demonstrate effective safety leadership by addressing and enforcing BW Golds safety standards, procedures, and safety systems. Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety protocols to ensure safe and efficient operation of equipment and processes. Willingness to be cross trained across Plant Unit functions. May require to maintain a clean-shaven appearence (i.e. no facial hair) to ensure the safe and effective use of required personal protective equipment (PPE) associated with assigned duties. Perform other duties as required. Qualifications Operational Gold Process Plant Experience (Min. OP 3 Level) Strong mechanical aptitude and trouble shooting skills. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, diagrams, and schematics. Multistage crushing experience. CIL operational experience Cyanide destruct operational experience Preferred Skills Ability to work at a remote location camp on a 2 weeks on/2 weeks off rotation. Comfortable working and living in close quarters with the team. Ability to maintain high levels of performance over 12-hour shift. Ability to lift/move up to 50lbs throughout a work shift. Ability to work night shift and in extreme weather conditions. Forklift and crane operation skills. Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently with minimal supervision. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
