Job Description: Key Responsibilities Design and develop backend microservices usingPython. Build and maintain APIs using frameworks such asFastAPIorFlask. Develop business logic and database-driven functionality to support platform applications. Design and implement database objects, including: Stored procedures Tables and schemas Data pipelines and ETL processes Collaborate with product and engineering teams to deliver scalable and reliable solutions. Optimize database performance, data access patterns, and backend services. Contribute to overall data platform architecture and best practices. Required Qualifications 5-7+ years of software engineering experience with a strong focus on backend development. Strong proficiency inPythonand microservices architecture. Hands-on experience withFastAPI,Flask, or similar Python web frameworks. Strong database development experience, including SQL programming and data modeling. Experience building data pipelines and backend data services. Understanding of software design patterns, API development, and distributed systems. Ability to work independently with a high degree of ownership and accountability. Preferred Qualifications Experience withSnowflakeis highly preferred, though direct administration of Snowflake isnot required. Experience developing database functionality within cloud-based data platforms. Background in full-stack development is acceptable, provided the candidate's recent experience is focused on backend and database services.
