Responsibilities Application of epoxy/urethane primer and topcoat with airless paint pump Conventional spray pot experience with metallic and urethane paint – 2-year minimum Knowledge of basic preparation of blasted steel to execute specific surface prep requirements Trouble Shoot and Maintain Pumps (Airless) as well as HVLP guns and 2.5-gallon pressure pots. Ability to achieve wet mill thickness and DFT readings of own workmanship Read and understand work orders Ensure and document that all coating is completed accurately and meets customer specs 100% participation in all aspects of workplace safety including toolbox talks and proper use of workplace PPE Actively adhere to company safety procedures and policies Perform other duties as required, including effective general clean-up and the accurate and timely completion of paperwork Ability to work independently, as well as collaboratively in a team environment Knowledge and experience of media blasting is an asset Qualifications Minimum 2 years’ experience Industrial Painting or Manufacturing Attention to detail and ability to retain processes within the Coatings Department Self-motivated with minimal direction based on past work experience Working Conditions 95% working indoors in a temperature controlled well maintained facility. Physical Requirements Physically fit with maximum 50 lbs (overhead crane use over 50 lbs Standing on your feet for a long period of time. Sitting, bending, crouching.
