Job summary
Director, Business Development - Investments (Western Canada) Candidates residing in Alberta or British Columbia will be considered. As a Business Development Director, the successful candidate will be responsible for achieving sales objectives for individual investment solutions and, to a lesser extent, individual insurance products, through assigned MGAs and advisors within the territory. The Business Development Director must possess strong relationship-building skills, a demonstrated customer focus, and a proven ability to identify and develop business opportunities. The territory assignment may vary over time throughout the Western provinces. The initial focus will be Alberta and British Columbia, with occasional travel and support in Saskatchewan and Manitoba related to individual investments. An in-depth knowledge of individual investment products is required. Knowledge of individual insurance products is considered an asset. The ideal candidate is a dynamic, entrepreneurial, and results-oriented professional with strong problem-solving abilities. As a key member of the Sales and Marketing team, the successful candidate will help implement innovative strategies to drive growth and strengthen Assumption Life's presence in the market.
